Agriculture is one of the main parts of Macra and something we are very active in. Have a look below to find more about each of the areas in which we show this.

Agricultural talk

We host an annual agricultural talk on topics affecting farmers in Ireland which is well attended for it's quality of speakers and businesses on display at it.

farm walks

We regularly attend farm walks organised by the regional Seandun Macra committee as well as the walks organised by our local IFA branch.

farm skills

We take part in the farm skills competition organised by Macra where we have to a variety of skills including skilled driving of machinery, fencing, hanging gates and farm safety.

We are constantly keeping an eye on the Skillsnet courses available through Macra. Through these courses, as a member of Macra you can easily upskill yourself in a wide variety of areas to help you in whatever career you choose.
